Is a leather sofa suitable for households with pets?

Yes, genuine leather is a good choice for households with animals: it is durable, easy to wipe clean, and compared to fabric hardly absorbs odors or pet hair. However, claws can leave scratches – for particularly lively animals, we recommend an additional blanket or a sofa cover.

From which animal does the used leather come?

Our genuine leather comes exclusively from cattle. It is a by-product of the food industry – no animal is kept or slaughtered solely for leather production.

Isn't that animal cruelty?

We value transparent supply chains. The leather comes from European companies where cattle farming is subject to strict animal welfare guidelines. In addition, we do not use exotic leather or cheap imports from problematic sources.

How do I properly care for my genuine leather sofa?

Simply wipe regularly with a soft cloth and occasionally apply a leather conditioner. No aggressive chemicals – less is more.

Can I also leave the sofa freestanding in the room?

Most of our sofas are fully upholstered, meaning: they look good from the back as well and can be easily placed freely in the room. You can find details in the respective product description – or just ask us directly.
